“Talaba kun tartibi” is an app for students and teachers of Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute (SamDPI). This page explains what data it handles, why and where.
What stays on your phone
- Your HEMIS login and password: sent directly to the institute’s HEMIS (student.samdpi.uz); the password is never stored. The session token is kept in the phone’s secure storage (Keychain / Keystore).
- Timetable, grades, attendance, exams, assignments and documents from HEMIS, your tasks, notes, time blocks and Pomodoro sessions.
- Location: only read when you tap the button on the building map, and never sent anywhere.
What the app’s server keeps
- Students: full name, student number and HEMIS ID, group, faculty, study programme, year, the HEMIS photo link. The server reads your profile and timetable once with your HEMIS token and does not store the token.
- Teachers (signing in through the HEMIS staff portal): full name, employee ID, photo. No phone number or e-mail is requested.
- Which teacher teaches which group, and group timetables — so a student can write only to their own teachers.
- Chat: messages, files and photos you send, read receipts, blocks and reports.
- Technical server logs — kept for at most 14 days.
Why
Only to run the app: your studies and timetable, chat between teachers and their students, and moderation. Data is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with third parties except where the law requires it.
Where
The server is located in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as the Law “On Personal Data” requires.
Retention and deletion
Messages are kept until their author, a moderator or an account deletion removes them. “Profile → Delete account” erases your account, your messages and files and the groups you created, and clears the phone. You can also write to support@optomax.uz. See account deletion.
Moderation
A moderator sees only reported messages and a few messages around them — never a whole conversation.
Children
The app is for university students and teachers and is not directed at children under 13.
